  • Three Towers of San Marino

    Three Towers of San Marino are a group of towers located on the three peaks of the Monte Titiano.

    The towers are so significant to the country and its citizen that they are depicted on both the national coat of arms and the national flag.

    The first tower is “the Gaiuta” the oldest of the three towers built directly on the rock with no foundations, then there is the second tower “Cesta Tower” which was built on the highest pinnacle of mount Titiano and it also houses the Museum of Archaic Arms and finally the third tower is called the “Montale” it is the smallest of all the towers but the best in terms of defensive purposes for the city during wars.
